DATO' DR. LER CHENG CHYE

Senior Partner

DATO’ DR. LER founded the Firm in 1981 and is an approved company auditor, liquidator and tax agent with more than 40 years of working and entrepreneurial experiences. Outside of work, he has been active in local communities and is the pioneer in fostering trades and cultural exchanges between Malaysia and China. In 2009, as a overseas Chinese leader in Malaysia, he received Mr Hu Jintao and Mr Wen Jiabao, then China's president and premier respectively, during their first official visits to Malaysia, the first ever by a Chinese supreme leader.

MR. LUM TUCK CHEONG

Managing Partner

MR LUM is the Managing Partner of HLB Ler Lum. He is a chartered accountant by profession, and also an approved company auditor registered with Audit Oversight Board, approved liquidator, receiver and/or manager as well as a tax agent with more than 40 years working experiences in the field of audit, tax, corporate finance, receivership and insolvency assignments as well as corporate consultancy.

MR. WONG CHEE HONG

MR. WONG is our home grown partner with more than 15 years audit working experience in assurance assignments and corporate exercises. He is a member of Certified Practising Accountants Australia (CPA Aust), Malaysian institute of Accountants (MIA) and INSOL International and is also an approved company auditor registered with Audit Oversight Board.

MR. JOHN LER

Partner

JOHN is a Fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and INSOL International and has more than 10 years working experience under his belt. He commenced his career with HLB Ler Lum in 2009, involving in audit and corporate recovery services and he is currently our International Contact Partner in liaison with other HLB global Network Member Firms.
